چکیده
fusarium head blight (fhb) or wheat scab is one of the destructive diseases that cause considerable loss in grain quality in cereal cultivated around the worldwide due to the production of trichotecen mycotoxin in the panicle. type b trichothecenes including nivalenol (niv), deoxynivalenol (don), 3-acetyl deoxynivalenol (3-acdon) and 15-deoxynivalenol (15-acdon) are considered to be major toxins produced by fusarium graminearum isolates. to determinate the trichothecene chemotyping among f. graminearum isolates, sampling was performed during 2009-2010 in different wheat fields in golestan province at the time of ear formation and revolution. after identification of isolates using morphological criteria, a number of 100 isolates were confirmed using species-specific primers (fg16f/fg16r) as f. graminearum species. in these isolates, the presence of the responsible gene for trichothecene (tri7) was detected by using pcr and species-specific primers (tri7f/tri7r). among the studied isolates in sampling area, a number of 72 isolates were identified as niv producing type and 28 isolates as don producing type. among the studied isolates, two populations as 7c1 and 6a5 were identified, which 7c1 (strain 7) population showed the highest distribution.

Population genetic analysis and trichothecene profiling of Fusarium graminearum from wheat in Uruguay.
Fusarium graminearum sensu stricto (F. graminearum s.s.) is the major causal agent of Fusarium head blight of wheat worldwide, and contaminates grains with trichothecene mycotoxins that cause serious threats to food safety and animal health. An important aspect of managing this pathogen and reducing mycotoxin contamination of wheat is knowledge regarding its population genetics. Therefore, isol...
متن کاملBiogeography of Fusarium graminearum species complex and chemotypes: a review
Differences in the geographic distribution of distinct trichothecene mycotoxins in wheat and barley were first recorded two decades ago. The different toxicological properties of deoxynivalenol (DON), nivalenol (NIV) and their acetylated derivatives require careful monitoring of the dynamics of these mycotoxins and their producers. The phylogenetic species concept has become a valuable tool to ...
متن کاملFusarium graminearum Tri12p influences virulence to wheat and trichothecene accumulation.
The gene Tri12 encodes a predicted major facilitator superfamily protein suggested to play a role in export of trichothecene mycotoxins produced by Fusarium spp. It is unclear, however, how the Tri12 protein (Tri12p) may influence trichothecene sensitivity and virulence of the wheat pathogen Fusarium graminearum. In this study, we establish a role for Tri12 in toxin accumulation and sensitivity...

15 صفحه اولComparison of Trichothecene Biosynthetic Gene Expression between Fusarium graminearum and Fusarium asiaticum
Nivalenol (NIV) and deoxynivalenol (DON) are predominant Fusarium-producing mycotoxins found in grains, which are mainly produced by Fusarium asiaticum and F. graminearum. NIV is found in most of cereals grown in Korea, but the genetic basis for NIV production by F. asiaticum has not been extensively explored. In this study, 12 genes belonging to the trichothecene biosynthetic gene cluster were...
